Martin Odegaard has committed to a fresh five-year contract with Arsenal, extending his stay in North London until 2028. The Norwegian international initially arrived at Arsenal on loan from Real Madrid in January 2021 before making the move permanent with a four-year deal in August of the same year, with an option for an additional 12 months. Having made 112 appearances for Arsenal across all competitions, contributing with 27 goals and 15 assists, Odegaard expressed his enthusiasm for the extension, saying, “Renewing my contract was an easy decision for me for various reasons. I’ve found a place where I can settle down and truly call home. My journey has been somewhat different, having moved between clubs since I was 16.
