LeBron James might be feeling the effects of time catching up with him as he’s now listed as questionable due to a new injury ahead of the upcoming game. The LA Lakers are gearing up to play against the Charlotte Hornets, and there’s a possibility that five players, including James, might be absent. Other players in question are Anthony Davis, Cam Reddish, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Gabe Vincent.
The recent report reveals that James is contending with a left knee contusion, following a previous calf contusion he played through earlier in the season. While there’s uncertainty for Thursday’s game, considering his track record of playing through injuries, there’s optimism he could do the same.

LeBron James could break another record if he remains healthy
At 38 years old, turning 39 on Saturday and in his 21st NBA season, LeBron James is often assumed to hold the record for most career games played. However, Robert Parish’s record of 1,611 games remains unbeaten. In the last three seasons, injuries slowed down LeBron’s pursuit of the record. Despite these challenges, there’s a belief that he still has some playing time left in him.
According to Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated, James could potentially break the record by the age of 42 if he continues playing and manages to stay healthy or plays through injuries. LeBron has expressed his interest in playing alongside his son, Bronny, in the league, indicating a likely stay in the NBA for the next season when Bronny is expected to enter the 2024 NBA draft. The plans for the years following his son’s rookie season remain uncertain.
