The match started with Beth Mead scoring for Arsenal in the eighth minute, displaying composure with her left foot. However, Chelsea’s Johanna Rytting Kaneryd quickly responded with a similar goal. Arsenal took the lead again with Amanda Ilestedt’s header in the 36th minute, followed by another goal from Russo less than two minutes later.

Despite Chelsea making changes at halftime, they struggled to find their rhythm, and Russo scored again from a penalty in the 74th minute, securing Arsenal’s victory. Chelsea’s Sam Kerr had a late chance, but her header lacked power.

In the late game, Manchester United won 4-0 against Tottenham Hotspur, with Melvine Malard scoring twice and assisting another goal for Ella Toone.
