Arsenal and Declan Rice: Gunners are expected to make a formal bid

West Ham– The ones holding out for £120 million rejected the Gunners’ initial offer of £80 million plus add-ons. The Gunners’ offer would have been paid in delayed installments with numerous strict restrictions attached to it. Discover Arsenal is potentially going to make bid for Declan Rice.

The Hammers reportedly would accept £100 million plus a player.

Arsenal is willing to pay more than ever to acquire Declan Rice; both their initial bid and this one exceed the £72 million they paid to acquire Nicolas Pepe from Lille in 2019.

Manchester City and Manchester United have also shown interest in the 24-year-old.

Rice has played his whole professional career for the east London club, taking over for Mark Noble as the Hammers’ captain prior to the start of this year.

In the January transfer window, the Gunners made offers for Moises Caicedo of Brighton but ultimately chose to sign Jorginho from London rivals Chelsea.

However, Mikel Arteta, who last season primarily relied on Martin Odegaard, Granit Xhaka, and Thomas Partey as his midfielders, is still eager to bolster that part of the pitch.
