Jokic entered the evening having averaged 27.0 points, 12.4 rebounds, 9.5 assists, 1.2 steals, and a 54.1% field goal percentage and a 30.9% three-point percentage over his previous 26 games. With a 17-10 record through their first 27 games, the Nuggets are the fourth seed in the Western Conference.
They have lost their previous ten games, going 6-4, with a 118-117 loss against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Jokic scored 24 points, grabbed six boards, dished out 12 assists, and forced two steals in 37 minutes of action. He also shot 8/15 from the field and 1/2 from three pointers.
On Wednesday night, the Nuggets will travel to Toronto, Canada, to play the Raptors after the Mavs.
Jokic, who entered the 2014 NBA Draft with the 41st overall pick, is now in his eighth season of play (all with the Nuggets).
The 28-year-old guided the Nuggets to the Western Conference’s top seed and the 2023 NBA Championship victory over the Miami Heat in the previous year.
Throughout his career, he has averaged 20.5 points, 10.6 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 1.2 steals, and a 55.2% field goal percentage and 34.6% three-point shooting percentage per game.
